Generate a unique 6-digit key to authorize client scanner sweeps. Each key is valid for a maximum of 2 hours and can only be used once.

VANGUARD CHECK OPERATING HANDBOOK

This handbook serves as the official administrative guide for managing Vanguard client scanner configurations, verifying system telemetry, and interpreting sweep logs.

1. Scanner Sweep Verification

To conduct a scan on a player's machine, navigate to the Scan Keys section and generate a unique authorization key. Provide this key to the player, who must execute the Vanguard client utility (`vanguard_check.exe`). The client will prompt the player for the key, retrieve dynamic scanning rules from the API, perform local checks, and securely report the gathered telemetry back to the database.

2. Telemetry Assessment & Classifications

• Severe Alert: Active file signature matches or active processes running in memory matching cheat vendor profiles. Requires immediate ban attention.
• Warning Alert: Registry traces (Prefetch, UserAssist, Shellbags) indicating historical execution of blocked keywords, or suspicious browser history domains/searches. Suggests past activity or software presence.
• Clean Sweep: Scan is complete with zero process memory anomalies, zero active cheat directory files, and clear network configurations.

3. Dual-Account Verification (Alt Account Detection)

The system automatically correlates MAC addresses and Machine GUIDs across scan records. If a player submits a scan sharing hardware identifiers with another Steam account, an ALT ACCOUNT warning badge will appear under their display name. Admins should check the Steam sub-tab inside the Inspector to view all connected profiles.

4. Administrator Case Notes & Actions

Use the Actions tab inside the Detail Inspector to save private administrative notes, list ban reasoning, or toggle a player's standing between Clean and Flagged. Super Admins also have the ability to delete redundant scan logs entirely.

DEVELOPER API SPECIFICATIONS

Integrate external services or retrieve telemetry reports using the Vanguard REST interface. Authenticated requests require passing administrative credentials via header validation.
